Hello! Welcome to Cyborg Girlfriend

Cyborg Girlfriend is a newsletter about cultural criticism from a niche, and chronically online posthumanist she/they.

I passionately believe that cultural theory (feminist, queer, postcolonialist, posthumanist, etc.) should be spread and co-created by the masses instead of being reserved for the elites. I love academia but I also have an obsession with pop culture and the internet. I believe that critical lenses can be applied to anything and it’s more fun if we use them to analyze mainstream culture. Most of my articles are critical analyses of current events and cultural products, but also, a large number of them are musings and ramblings about things I love (and hate at times, cause I love being a hater).
